Mens T-Shirt – Galinha do Velho

Growing up, long before the Portuguese chicken craze hit Australia, there was only one takeaway chicken to choose from: Galinha do Velho. On special occasions, a bucket of this greasy, delicious chicken would appear, and we’d all gather around to enjoy a feast that, for once, Mum hadn’t prepared. Of course, she would still make some rice and salad to go along with it—because  “Só vamos comer, rubbish.”

For this nostalgia bomb, I’ve taken the classic logo and made the Colonel more Portuguese. Let’s face it: I just made him look like Quim Barreiros.
