Description
Every Portuguese festa has one. You know the one. They sit at the very end of the long table. They don’t have a plate, a fork, or an invitation—yet there they are.
They are the Human Bin Chickens of the family. Whether it’s a Tio who no one can actually trace on the family tree, or a Tia who appeared out of thin air, they live by one rule: “If it’s on a plate, it’s fair game.” They don’t wait for you to finish; they’re already swiping that last piece of entrecosto while you’re mid-sentence. They’ll even finish off the leftovers of that little cousin who has had a permanent constipado and a runny nose since 2014.
This design is for them.
We’ve taken the spirit of the legendary Galo de Barcelos and fused it with the relentless hustle of the Australian White Ibis. It’s a tribute to the ultimate survivors—the ones who find the feast in the scraps and never miss a party.
The Scavenger’s Guide to this Shirt:
The Lookout: Scanning the table for an unattended plate of bacalhau.
The High-Flyer: Swooping in before the person next to them can say “I’m full.”
The Bin Boss: Ruling the end of the table from a throne of discarded napkins and empty Sumol bottles.
